Life in the UK Test

Last updated: July 2026

The short version. Life in the UK Test does not collect, transmit or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads and no trackers. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

Your data stays on your device

Your test date, mock scores, progress, streaks, bookmarks and settings are saved only in the app’s local storage on your phone. This information is never uploaded, synced or shared. Removing the app deletes it.

No tracking

The app contains no analytics, advertising SDKs or third-party trackers. We do not know who you are and we do not build a profile of you.

Notifications

If you switch on the daily practice reminder, it is scheduled as a local notification by your device. Nothing is sent to any server, and you can turn it off at any time.

Read-aloud (text-to-speech)

The read-aloud feature uses the text-to-speech engine built into your device. No audio or text is sent to us or to any third party.

External links

The app can open external web links — for example the “Buy me a coffee” page — in your browser. Those websites have their own privacy policies, which we don’t control.

Children

The app is a general-audience study aid and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
